The plan for today was tour the Hoover Dam. Then chill out the rest of the day. Below you will see many shots of this amazing poured concrete structure. Much of the architecture reminded us of the 1930's.
Overflow channel which was has noit been used since 1983.
The border between Arizona and Nevada is right down the middle of the dam.
After the dam we drove to Boulder City, just a few miles up the road from the dam. We had a nice lunch in the Dillon Bar. On the drive out we past by this antique store which had a statue of the Blues Brothers.
