June 4th Victoria, BC & the Royal British Columbia Museum

June 4th Victoria, BC & the Royal British Columbia Museum
Headed west to Port Angeles again this morning and for the BC Ferry to Victoria. The ferry ride was about 90 minutes and very pleasant. The ferry docks in downtown Victoria.  Going through Canadian customs was very easy.  We only had to give up two apples. They don't like seeds and certain plants to threaten their indigenous species. In downtown Victoria we headed for the Royal British Columbia Museum and I was able to park the rv in the museum parking lot.  We have been very fortunate with city parking this trip!  The museum had excellent exhibits of natural history and family possessions. The family belongings spanned from First Nation to current 1970's. The natural history exhibit had excellent dioramas of wild  life.
Our campsite at Poulsbo, Eagle View RV Park.

Welcoming statue in the lobby of the Royal British Columbia Museum.

A great woolly mammoth right when you walk into the natural history exhibit.
I always take pictures of desks.
Early potty.  Does not look very comfortable!
They had this 1970 model of the first Commodore computer. I am sure this model stimulated Steve Wozniak.
After the museum we walked down to the harbor which is virtually across the street.  We had dinner at a restaurant adjacent to the pier.
Another view of the harbor.
Harbor side view of the museum.
Some Victoria buildings
