June 8th, 2017 Lake Louise Village, Banff National Park

June 8th, 2017 Lake Louise Village, Banff National Park
We set out for Banff National PArk the next morning aiming for Lake Louise village. We stopped at Craigellachie where the last spike was driven into the rail ties for the Canadian Pacific Railway. We also stopped in Revelstoke for another late lunch. We ended the day at Lake Louise Village campground. Again we saw some great geography along the way.

Our campsite at Le Jeune Lac.  The mosquitos were pretty aggressive.
Another healthy lunch at the Main Street Cafe in Revelstoke.

Posing at Craigellachie.
The golden spike.
Taking a turn at driving in a spike.

It was an overcast day but the following next few pictures built our anticipation for Banff National Park.
